But unfortunately, he broke his leg during the move from Frankfurt to Marburg. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a hard time parting with things\u2014and a little defect like that is by no means a reason for me to throw it away. But since putting together puzzles isn\u2019t exactly one of my strengths, as you can see, I had to resort to Plan B. Of course, anyone who wants to can further shape it or sand it smooth. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elfen-und-helden.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Gartenzwerg-Rettung-YT-Banner-10-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-218142\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the base color of the meadow, I\u2019m choosing Midnight Green from Dixie Belle\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/elfen-und-helden.de\/en\/produkt-kategorie\/dixiebelle-paint-company-en\/dixiebelle-paints-en\/dixiebelle-silk-aio-en\/\">Silk All-in-One Mineral Paint<\/a> series. This also allows me to slightly refresh the patina that has developed on the balcony over the years. For each specific application, I follow the manufacturer\u2019s current application instructions. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/elfen-und-helden.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Gartenzwerg-Rettung-YT-Banner-24-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-218177\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To add that necessary grungy look, I highlight the recesses with Posh Chalk Patina in black. To do this, I apply the patina to the recesses with a brush and then wipe away the excess with a lint-free cloth.
