Are you new to painting furniture? Don’t worry! I will guide you through the process from start to finish! I’m sure you’ll create a beautiful hand-painted masterpiece!<\/span><\/p>\n All materials are provided and you can enjoy a shopping spree at Elfen & Helden with a 10% discount on your purchases.<\/span><\/p>\n What we will cover in the workshop:<\/span><\/p>\n Basic color application:<\/span><\/p>\n How to apply the paint correctly to your project.<\/span><\/p>\n Distressing:<\/span><\/p>\n This isn’t for everyone, but we’ll discuss the best methods and techniques, as well as the places where distressed looks best on furniture. You can practice this in the course on a piece of wood. Due to time constraints, distress is limited to edges only.<\/span><\/p>\n Seal your project:<\/span><\/p>\n How to seal and protect your furniture with either clear wax or topcoat, including the most appropriate tools, as well as my expert tips and tricks.<\/span><\/p>\n Set accents in your project:<\/span><\/p>\n Learn about the aging of your project with colored waxes \u2013 brown, black, gray or white. (Growing strong or full-surface accents can be demonstrated, but since we have limited time, please plan to apply more wax to your project at home.)<\/span><\/p>\n Curing:<\/span><\/p>\n Learn the importance of letting the surface harden and how to take care of your project when you bring it home.<\/span><\/p>\n IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:<\/span><\/p>\n I recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to take your seat and settle in, as this will be helpful for the rest of the process.<\/span><\/p>\n The workshop fee is per person. Due to the space constraints in my workshop area, I ask that friends, partners, children, mothers, etc. do not bring with me unless they have also purchased a workshop ticket and are bringing their own project. Thank you for your understanding.<\/span><\/p>\n The fee for this course is \u20ac 150.00, an advance payment is required. Your place in the workshop will only be confirmed after payment has been made!
