Unlike loose leaf metal, the metal is applied to a thin backing, making it easier to pick up, guide, and position precisely. <\/p>\n<p>The backing material allows the blade to be used with precise control, especially on flat and large surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>Annie Sloan Gold Size transfer paste can be used for this application. Apply it to the desired surface according to the instructions. Then place the transfer sheet on top and press it down before carefully peeling off the backing.  <\/p>\n<p>Transfer leaf metal is available in various finishes: imitation gold, imitation silver, and copper. It can be used to create classic and elegant effects as well as modern or deliberately irregular ones. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Product Information:<\/strong> Imitation gold is often referred to as \u201cfake gold\u201d and is made of brass. This metal may tarnish over time. After application, the surface can be treated with clear Chalk Paint\u2122 Wax.  <\/p>\n<p>Imitation silver is made of aluminum.
