The dark wax is always used in combination with Clear Chalk Paint\u2122 Wax. Together, they are used to seal and protect decoratively painted Chalk Paint\u2122 surfaces indoors and at the same time create targeted design effects. <\/p>\n
For the typical Annie Sloan style, first apply a thin layer of Clear Chalk Paint\u2122 Wax to the paint surface using a Chalk Paint\u2122 wax brush. Work in small sections and then remove excess wax with a clean, lint-free cloth. This first layer ensures an even base and makes it easier to work with the dark wax later on. <\/p>\n
In the next step, Dark Chalk Paint\u2122 Wax is applied and worked deep into the surface. It is particularly effective in brush structures, indentations, carvings and on edges and creates the desired antique and used look. Excess dark wax can be removed or lightened at any time with a little clear wax. <\/p>\n
Make sure that each area of the furniture is waxed at least once to achieve even protection and a harmonious overall appearance.<\/p>\n
Aftercare:<\/strong> The surface can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth. A mild spray cleaner is suitable for heavier soiling.
