They are neither classic stickers nor decoupage foils, but pressure-sensitive motifs that are permanently transferred to the surface by gentle rubbing. The result looks like hand-painted and blends harmoniously into the surface – with an immediate effect and high design quality. <\/p>\n

The transfers are deliberately designed to be fine and detailed and therefore require some attention during application. However, with the right preparation and a calm approach, they are very easy to apply and reward you with a professional, long-lasting finish. The motifs are particularly impressive on dark, rich or bold colors and create stylish accents. <\/p>\n

A clean, dry and matt surface is crucial for optimum adhesion. Chalk and mineral paints should be completely dry and – depending on porosity – protected in advance with a thin layer of a water-based universal sealer. Wax is not suitable before applying a transfer, as it impairs adhesion. The surface must also be completely dust-free after sanding, as even fine residues can affect the result. <\/p>\n

The transfers should remain on the protective film until use to protect them from dust and soiling. During placement, the motif is carefully removed from the backing and slowly lowered to the desired position. Exact alignment before the first contact is important, as the motifs can only be corrected to a limited extent after they have been applied. Small pieces of weakly adhesive tape can help to hold the transfer in place during positioning. <\/p>\n

The transfer is carried out by rubbing evenly on the transparent film, ideally starting at one edge and working section by section. If a part has not yet transferred completely, the film can be carefully put back and rubbed again. After complete transfer, the motif is polished with a clean, dry cloth so that it lies smoothly and the edges blend in visually with the surface. Optionally, this step can also be supported with fine sanding fleece or a very fine sanding block. <\/p>\n
