  • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, grease and old residues.

  • If necessary, use a primer to improve adhesion.

2. protection from moisture

  • Even though many decoupage projects are sealed, it is recommended that objects in permanently damp environments (e.g. kitchen or bathroom) are additionally sealed with a suitable varnish.
  • Do not leave spilled liquids for long and wipe them up immediately to avoid possible damage.

3. no extreme load

  • For everyday furniture, we recommend using felt glides under heavy objects or decorations to prevent pressure marks.

4. refresh if necessary

  • If the surface loses its shine over time, you can carefully polish it with a soft cloth or apply a new layer of sealant to renew the protection.
