Chalk Paint™ Lacquer Gloss is a water-based polyacrylic lacquer designed to seal suitable Chalk Paint™ surfaces. The gloss finish gives the surface a subtle sheen without creating a pronounced high-gloss effect. For applications, surface preparation, application instructions, and protective properties, please refer to the current manufacturer’s instructions from Annie Sloan.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ Lacquer – Gloss
Chalk Paint™ Lacquer Gloss is a water-based polyacrylic lacquer designed to seal suitable surfaces painted with Chalk Paint™. The gloss finish gives the surface a subtle sheen while still allowing the underlying color to show through.
Depending on the project, the paint can be used on a variety of suitable surfaces. For information on surface preparation, the number of coats, drying and curing times, and suitability for the specific application, please refer to Annie Sloan’s current application instructions.
According to the product information, a 750-ml can is sufficient for approximately 19 m². Actual coverage may vary depending on the surface and application method.
Preparation
The surface should be clean and dry. Allow Chalk Paint™ to dry thoroughly before sealing; be sure to follow the manufacturer’s current instructions regarding drying and recoating times.
Stir the lacquer thoroughly before use; do not shake it.
Application
Apply a thin, even coat with a brush or roller.
For the intended surface protection, apply the recommended number of coats according to the manufacturer’s current instructions and observe the specified drying times.
Gloss gives the surface a glossy finish.
sealing
Chalk Paint™ Lacquer Gloss itself serves as a final sealant for the designed surface.
When selecting, applying and determining the number of required layers, observe the current manufacturer’s specifications and the subsequent stress on the surface.
Care
Clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh or alcohol-based cleaning products.
