“Spring”—a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted piece of furniture bursting with color and joie de vivre

An old piece of furniture with a history has been transformed into a colorful, one-of-a-kind piece: My “Spring” dresser combines bold shades of blue and turquoise with floral details, dark wood, and subtle metallic accents.

The various shades of blue and turquoise blend seamlessly on the front, giving the dresser a special sense of depth. This really highlights the beautiful Chippendale-style design of the six drawers.

Floral motifs on the sides create a playful contrast, while the dark wood-grain finish of the top panel lends a sense of calm and warmth to the design. Subtle accents in gold and silver add small highlights and round out the overall look.

The dresser is made of solid wood; I carefully restored it and then crafted it by hand. Small imperfections and traces of its past are left visible and are intentionally incorporated into the new design. The result is not an off-the-shelf piece of furniture, but a truly unique item with character.

This one-of-a-kind item has already found a new home.

“Spring” has been sold and is no longer available. However, it remains in my gallery as a source of inspiration—an example of how an old piece of furniture can be completely reinterpreted.

Would you like to have your own furniture customized?

Do you have an old dresser, cabinet, table, or other piece of furniture that’s far too nice to throw away? I’d love to work with you to create a custom design and transform your piece of furniture into a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted item that suits you and your home.

Of course, you can draw inspiration from “Spring”—but there won’t be an exact copy. Each piece of my furniture remains one-of-a-kind.
