Dixie Belle Bonding BOSS White – Adhesive primer and sealer in one product.

Bonding BOSS combines the properties of an adhesive primer for smooth, hard-to-bond surfaces with those of a barrier primer. Depending on the surface, the primer can be used on materials such as glass, ceramic, laminate, metal, concrete, walls, furniture, and cabinets. It is available in three versions: white for light colors, gray for medium and darker shades, and clear for dark colors or projects where the surface is meant to remain partially visible—for example, to achieve a shabby-chic look.

Bonding BOSS can also be used to prevent wood pigments and stains from showing through and to seal in existing odors. The white version is particularly suitable as a base under light-colored paints.

Coverage: approx. 15 m² per liter.

1. Preparation: Thoroughly clean the surface and remove dirt, grease, soot, wax, dust, and any loose or peeling paint. Holes, cracks, and uneven areas can be repaired beforehand if necessary.
2. Stirring: Stir Bonding BOSS thoroughly before use until a uniform consistency is achieved.
3. Application: Bonding BOSS can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun. A synthetic brush is suitable for brush application. If using a sprayer, clean it immediately after use according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If necessary, Bonding BOSS can be diluted with a maximum of 118 ml of water per 946 ml of product.
4. Coat Application and Drying: The manufacturer recommends 2–3 coats, depending on the project. Three coats may be necessary for heavily bleeding dyes or stains. At 25 °C and 50% relative humidity, the primer is touch-dry after approximately 2 hours, according to the manufacturer. Allow at least 4 hours for drying between coats.
5. Recoating: After applying the final coat, the manufacturer recommends allowing 24 hours for it to dry before applying another coat.

Note: The substrate, temperature, and humidity can affect application and drying. Follow the manufacturer’s current instructions.

Bonding BOSS combines bonding and stain-blocking properties in a single primer. Depending on how the surface is prepared, it can be used on surfaces such as glass, ceramic, laminate, metal, concrete, walls, furniture, and cabinets. The white version can be used as a base for lighter colors.

Coverage: approximately 160 sq. ft. per quart. Follow the manufacturer’s current instructions for surface preparation, number of coats, application, drying, and recoating times.
