Start by cleaning the surface thoroughly – preferably with a suitable cleaner such as White Lightning, Pristin Clean or Terra Clean from Dixiebelle. This will remove dust, grease and old paint residue, allowing the paint to adhere perfectly.
Dixiebelle chalk mineral paints adhere to almost anything: wood, metal, glass, ceramics and even fabric. Often neither sanding nor priming is necessary. However, for smooth surfaces such as glass, metal or plastic that are used for more than just decorative purposes, it is advisable to lightly sand the surface or apply a primer. primer apply a primer. As a general rule, sanding is rarely necessary, but a light sanding can optimize the adhesion of the paint and create an even more even finish.

Pay attention to the consistency: the chalk paint is naturally thick and therefore has great coverage. Have you left the can open for too long and the paint has thickened a little? No problem, you can simply make it smooth again with a little water.
Moisture helps
