With Dixie Belle Sea Spray, you can add texture to paint and create decorative finishes, such as coastal- or vintage-inspired surfaces. The paint additive contains sea salt and is mixed with a suitable paint according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Dixie Belle Sea Spray
Sea Spray is a powdered paint additive used to create textured and intentionally irregular surfaces. The product is mixed with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint and is suitable, for example, for weathered, textured, or coastal-inspired effects.
Directions from the manufacturer: Mix 2 level measuring spoons of Sea Spray with 8 oz / 237 ml of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint. If necessary, gradually add up to another half measuring spoon until a thick consistency is achieved. The mixture can then be dabbed on with a brush to create texture. While drying, peaks and ridges can be partially smoothed out or intentionally left as is, depending on the desired effect. Once dry, additional coats of paint or suitable finishing products can be applied to create further design effects.
Note: Due to the product’s powdery consistency, the manufacturer recommends wearing appropriate respiratory and eye protection during use. Follow the manufacturer’s current safety and usage instructions.
