After the final step: Be patient! Let your project dry for about 24 hours so that the Dixie Belle Gilding Wax can dry thoroughly. Allow up to 30 days for it to cure completely. Actual drying and curing times may vary depending on temperature, humidity, the surface, and the thickness of the application.
Additional sealing if needed:
Dixie Belle Gilding Wax is self-sealing, so no additional sealing is generally required. For projects subject to heavier wear, a suitable clear sealant such as Dixie Belle Clear Coat may be used, depending on the application. Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the products you use, and keep in mind that an additional sealant may alter the metallic finish.
