Prime Start is intended for preparing metal surfaces when using the Dixie Belle Patina System. According to the manufacturer, the product forms a protective layer between the existing metal substrate and the patina layer applied afterward. Follow the manufacturer’s current instructions for preparation and application.

Use in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. If necessary, wear protective clothing such as gloves, a respirator, and safety goggles. Keep out of the reach of children. If swallowed: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If the person is conscious and responsive, rinse their mouth with water. Contact the nearest poison control center or local emergency number for further assistance. Eye contact: Rinse immediately with clean water. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if necessary. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected skin areas with soap and water. Contact a doctor if you experience discomfort or skin reactions. Do not continue to wear contaminated clothing until it has been cleaned. Inhalation: Immediately move the affected person to fresh air. Seek immediate medical attention if breathing is difficult.
