Shelf / Room Divider “Elfen & Helden: Frankfurt Skyline” – One-of-a-Kind, Hand-Painted Piece

Frankfurt, color, and a healthy dose of “Ei gude wie!”: This solid oak piece of furniture was handcrafted and combines regional details with bold colors and an extraordinary mix of different design techniques.

The back panel features the Frankfurt skyline, while one side is adorned with lilac vines and the other features the Hessian greeting “Ei gude wie!” for a touch of whimsy. A rich dark green dominates the sides and shelf, while the legs stand out in dark blue. An intricate crackle effect on the shelf adds extra texture. Inside, shades of pink, lilac, and apricot bring a surprisingly vibrant splash of color to the design.

This piece of furniture is intended for indoor use—even though some of the product photos were taken outdoors.

This is an old piece of furniture that has been lovingly restored. Minor imperfections and traces of its past life are allowed to remain visible, and I deliberately incorporate them into the finish. They are part of the history of this special, one-of-a-kind piece.
