Successfully create and design your personal piece of furniture.

Do you know that?

You may have a piece of furniture that has gone out of fashion yourself. Or maybe your heart bleeds because an old piece of furniture (which is usually still made of wonderful solid wood) is to be disposed of just because it doesn’t fit into today’s world. But you don’t know how to upgrade it properly?!

Then you’ve come to the right place!

In this 2-day course from A-Z you will personally receive step-by-step instructions for my looks and designs.

I will show you various techniques and give you tips on what to consider. Starting with project preparation, through design and proper sealing.

We work with water-based, environmentally friendly chalk mineral paints without volatile ingredients. According to your wishes or my recommendations, you will learn various techniques when designing your project. Some of these are minor repairs, gradients, textures, stencilling, decoupage, working with transfer foils, applying stamps, using decorative elements and ornaments.

What we don’t are extensive repairs and restorations. If these are necessary for your project, they must be done in advance.

Course duration: 2 days 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Course location: at my studio (Marburg)

Dates: after booking and payment you will receive a link to the online calendar in which you can register. If no suitable date is available, we will coordinate it individually *

Included in the course fee are:

• Colors, selected materials and decorative elements from my creative base.**
• Drinks and small snacks on both days.

You bring a “small to medium” piece of furniture, a side table, a bedside table or something similar. At the end of the 2 days, you will take it home with you as a newly designed one-of-a-kind piece.

If you don’t have the opportunity to bring your own furniture or don’t have furniture to work on, there are two options.

1. Either I take care of finding a piece of furniture that you can work on at no extra cost. This piece of furniture will remain in my possession after the workshop. Of course, you can also take over this furniture after prior price agreement.

Courses are available in German and English.

• Booked appointments are binding and can be cancelled or rebooked up to 48 hours in advance. For reasons of disposition, 50% of the course fee will be forfeited in the event of a later cancellation, unless a replacement participant can be found.

** If you want to use exclusive decorative elements or WoodUbends, you will receive them at a special price during the course.
