ATELIER Private Course – Your Furniture, Your Design, Your One-of-a-Kind Piece

Do you have an old or outdated piece of furniture that you’d like to turn into something truly special? In this two-day private course, I’ll personally guide you from the initial idea to the finished piece of furniture.

Together, we’ll develop a design that suits your furniture and your personal style. I’ll walk you through various techniques step by step and explain what’s important when it comes to preparation, design, and sealing.

We work with water-based chalk mineral paints. Depending on your project, your preferences, and my recommendations, we can incorporate techniques such as minor repairs, color gradients, textures, stenciling, decoupage, transfer sheets, stamping, and various decorative elements and ornaments.

Extensive repairs and restorations are not part of the course. If your furniture requires such work, it should be completed before the course begins.

Course duration: 2 days, 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day
Course location: Elfen & Helden Studio in Marburg
Scheduling: After you book and complete payment, you’ll receive a link to my online calendar. If there isn’t a suitable time slot available there, we’ll arrange a time individually.

Included in the course fee:

• Colors, as well as selected materials and decorative elements from my creative collection
• Drinks and light snacks on both days

Bring a small- to medium-sized piece of furniture, such as a side table or nightstand. At the end of the two days, you’ll take your newly redesigned, one-of-a-kind piece home with you.

Don’t have your own piece of furniture, or can’t transport one? In that case, I can provide a suitable piece of furniture for you to work on during the workshop at no additional cost. This piece will remain in my possession afterward, but you may purchase it from me after we’ve agreed on a price. Alternatively, you can book my private ONLINE class and work on your own piece of furniture from the comfort of your home.

Courses are available in German and English.

Scheduled appointments are binding and may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance. If canceled later than that, 50% of the course fee will be forfeited unless a replacement participant can be found.
