When November is grey, wet and cold across the country, I reach for a world of color that immediately moves something in me: turquoise and aqua tones. They remind me of the play of light under water, of freedom, of depth and of that feeling of taking a deep breath.

Turquoise is a color that expands rooms. Even small pieces of furniture take on a new presence when they shine in aqua, lagoon or a smoky sea green. Aqua provides calm and clarity, an almost meditative feeling that relaxes and softens the room. Stronger turquoise brings warmth and energy without being loud. It is a breeze of color that flows quietly but powerfully through the room.
I have revived many old treasures with this color direction: stools that look like salty driftwood found on the beach. Chests of drawers with a soft patina that suddenly tell a story as if they have seen half an ocean. Bowls and small decorative pieces that create a maritime boho atmosphere with their interplay of glass, wood and turquoise.
Maybe I love these colors so much because they remind me of my time underwater. Where stillness is not empty, but full of life. Where turquoise is not just a color, but a feeling.

And the great thing is: no matter which color line you prefer, turquoise finds its stage everywhere.

Chalk colors show these tones with their typical matte look and velvety, almost natural feel – making turquoise tones appear particularly authentic and calm. Mineral paints create a slightly silky depth, perfect for clearer, elegant surfaces. Acrylic colors, on the other hand, shine more intensely and brilliantly, ideal for pieces of furniture that need to make a bold statement.
Each color line brings the same color mood to life – but in its own way. So you can decide exactly what effect you want your color to have in the room.
If you’re looking for a little lightness in November, take a pinch of sea colors into your home. Sometimes a small upcycled piece is enough to open up the whole room.

I look forward to getting creative with you.
