It’s that warm, salty morning light on the coast, when the sun is still low and bathes everything in a soft, creamy veil. A yellow with a soft character – bright, but not garish. Fresh, but never garish.
The shade is reminiscent of sun-warmed sand, bright beach houses with weathered shutters and the first warm days of the year. It brings lightness to rooms without dominating them and gives furniture a friendly, inviting presence.
Like its namesake – the lemon shark – this color initially appears restrained and almost inconspicuous. But when combined with strong contrasts, dark blue, rich petrol or weathered wood, Lemon Shark reveals its full power. Then it “bites” charmingly and sets confident accents.

That’s me, Angela, owner and creative mind at Elfen & Helden. You rarely see me dressed up like this, because I’m usually deep in my colors and working. I love old furniture and it is important to me to give it a new life with a new look. In today’s world, it’s called upcycling – making something that already exists chic again.
In my shop in beautiful Marburg an der Lahn and also online you will find all the products that I work with myself and on my channels lots of inspiration, instructions and tutorials to do yourself and to imitate. The paints I work with are environmentally friendly and mostly water-based. There is chalk mineral paint, chalk paint in more than 200 different shades. Starting with cleaning, problem solvers, colors, sealing, creative products such as ornaments, stencils, transfer foil, decoupage, PInsel, aids and much more you will find everything in my shop and also online.
